NHM Recruitment Alert 2019: Apply for 6000 Community Health Officers Posts

National Health Mission, NHM, Uttar Pradesh has invited candidates to fill up Community Health Officers post. Candidates who are willing to apply for the post can visit the official site of NHM, UP at upnrhm.gov.in and follow the process. A total of 6000 posts of Community Health Officers will be filled up. Candidates must note that the last date to apply for the posts is till May 23, 2019.

Only online submission of applications is acceptable. Candidates who are currently undergoing the above training or those who have qualified the course are not eligible to apply in this session.

NHM Community Health Officers Post: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) RNRM from a recognised Institute/Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognised Institute/University.

Age Limit:

Candidates should be less than 35 years of age.

Candidate must have registration from Uttar Pradesh State Nursing Council at the time of online submission of applications.


  • Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect
  • Relevant work experience of two years in the health sector
  • Work experience in the public health system, preferably at the primary/community health centre level

During the training period, a stipend amount worth Rs 20,000 including Boarding &Lodging allowances will be provided. The maximum amount of Rs 35,000 will be offered at the time of posting at district as CHO. In case, at any stage of recruitment it is found that the candidate has furnished incorrect information, certificate or document then the society reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature.
